Ole Miss Grad Said We stole all Our lingo and Emblems

This guy I know a law student at that said that SMU/Gerald Turner stole the colors the emblems, the Blvd term or phrase from OLE MISS and he said that we stole the ponyears hand sign from TCU. I can't take this abuse no more I need help defending SMU. He also said that it is perfectly acceptable for a small team in a mid major conferences to look up to the SEC. HELP Please.

The Boulevard idea was inspired by Ole Miss's "Grove" but not colors...I think we had our hand signal before but not really worried about it.
More importantly, how's your son doing? He'd be a big help out there but I'd rather him have a better life for the next 70 years than to play his senior year with concussion issues...

the guy is half true. When PB tried to switch to grey pants, red jerseys and navy blue helmets, that was all ole miss.
TCU didnt start doing their knuckle thing until the 80s, I think an article said.
The Blvd is modeled after The Grove.
No problem, though. Ole Miss/Oxford stole the name of their town from some school in England

Well you all have to do better insulting this guy he's arrogant. LOL
But Derrius is doing just fine. He's playing football on every flag team he can trying to keep in shape. He hasn't thought about giving up football quiet yet. I know he told me he wants to play and will be asking next year to get back on the field. I am confused because while I know its dangerous, I also know that he loves this game and said he doesn't know how to be just a regular guy.

Ole Miss is an also-ran in the SEC. He'll talk about how great his conference is, but ask him what role they've played in it. They're pretty much reduced to bragging about about losing to good teams.
They last won the SEC 47 years ago, and have never even played in the SEC championship.

Back in the 50's and early 60's Ole Miss was a powerhouse. Johnny Vaught (Olney, Texas native and TCU grad) was a poor man's Bear Bryant. it's been a long time since they were a threat to win the SEC.

He said that they have 6 SEC championships and 3 National what yall got. He's reading the site and screaming out loud when you all reply something that's true. It hurts. All I can ask him is like Janet Jackson song said. What have you done for me lately. I may be on the 1st 48 soon. LOL

We have five SWC championships and two National Titles (albeit somewhat disputed).
