For those of you that did not stay after the game missed a real treat. The Mustang Band showed Rice how to play. It was great. Thank you BAND!

Sadly, I was in Kansas City on business and couldn't make the Rice game. Am I to believe the kazoo and slidewhistle section of the Rice band has fallen off from years past. They used to be legendary. And the marching electric keyboard....
That band is such a joke!

No they weren't, they were terrible. They've run out of ideas and now they're just tossing any and everything out there. Sad, really.

Ummm, no. The MOB is the Marching Owl Band, aka the rice band. They dont' march, but they play music (badly) and do comedy (not very funny usually, from what I've seen). Good concept...but I think poor execution. They should be more insulting or something, I dunno.

Can you imagine if we wrote comedy shows that were intended to be insulting? Oh man could we come up with some twisted stuff. Rah rah rah...

Heh, they'd be more boring than the mob if it was written by the same people who wrote the pigskin skits... :p hehe
