“They’re really experienced because defensive line-wise they are returning everybody,” senior right tackle Chris Olson said. “They just moved one of their ends to nose so they are going to be really athletic up front. They’ll probably be one of the biggest lines that we see all year.”

I like the sound of that -- already in their heads. yeah.

I'm in the Big 12 pick 'em at the office... I've been putting up with all sorts of funny guys coming by my office and poking fun at SMU. I want to see a bfa game on Sunday

There is an entire division of field tech types in my office that are almost all Tech alums. If we win this game, I'm going to get myself banned from their office.

Sure hope they are ready, well see how they hold up against arguably the best DLine they will see all year. Very tough first test. Good luck boys.

The best d-line SMU will see, or the best d-line Tech will see. I assume SMU... because while i love margus, I'm pretty sure UT and OU have slightly better D-lines!

nope. the quote is from a Tech O-lineman, concerned about dealing with SMU's D-line.
regardless of comparative stats from every team tech will play, I think it's useful that they believe they are in for a challenge when lining up to play against our athletic and big line.
anyway, anything that will help with an edge is good, I think.

Yes, the best DLine SMU will see. The Tech guys up front will be a force. Big mismatches on both sides of the ball in the trenches for the guys.

So no, according to the article, not the best DLine SMU will see, but the BIGGEST DLine Texas Tech will see.
"It’s hard to overstate how impressive SMU has been on the recruiting trail since the ACC announced the Mustangs would be joining the league”

yeah, I tried to point that out to buckwheat, but it's obvious that he is intent on ignoring our guys and fearing the 'Goliaths' on tech's on his post above and elsewhere. go figure.

I hope that our D line is one of the biggest they face this year. And I hope the quotes by TTU O linemen on Monday includes something about SMU's D line being one of the best they face all year.
