We have definitely reached a new era and will have some success this year, but we cannot fully expect to walk into a hostile stadium with a new opponent coach, and get a W, with our current D.

Im thinking something similar to the Marshall game, where we just couldnt stop the run. Hopefully I'm wrong.
31-14 Tech going into the 4th quarter
34-28 final, with us getting a TD at the end to make it appear closer than it was

I think this is or best chance of an upset in Lubbock post death penalty. However, I think we lose by two touchdowns. I hope I am wrong and I get to drink many celebratory beers after the game.

Hmmmm,
I think I'm going to say something like 42-24. I think SMU gets a couple big plays for TD's, and a good drive for another one.
I think Tech will run for 180, and throw for 350. I think SMU TO's will be their downfall, along with not enough depth on defense. Tuberville, and Co, will take advantage of a tired SMU DL, and run the ball very well in the 2nd half.
Tech throws 50 times, and rushes 38 times.

45-31 Tech...SMU scores a couple early in the game to get our hopes up, but is worn down in the second half and can't keep up (surprising TT early is our best chance...then gotta hold on tight)

You must be thinking of our previous QB - he transferred (sorry, but had to take the gratuitous shot at BLM). Padron will keep things tidy for us.
