There is a large mormon community in Dallas, all with tons of kids. Would fit in great with the whole "family atmosphere" bs they push for Ford stadium, AND national TV.

What a sweetheart deal! BYU gets more national TV time than if they stay in the MWC. I wonder if they qualify for the Notre Dame exception for the BCS (Top 12 a BCS bowl may invite them as an at large - instead of a 2nd place Big XII or SEC Team / Top 10 automatic BCS Bowl entrance).

Totally agree...would be greatness at Ford and a great trip out west also. Maybe late in the season too for a possible ski trip?......nah .....wishful thinking....

I am sure there is some disappointment within the MWC ranks against BYU, but the Cougars play their hand exceptionally well. MWC and Thompson move with Fresno State and Nevada did not have the intended effect, force BYU to stay.
TCU must be especially confused, since all they have done is raise their performance and appeal. I now feel the Frogs and the Ponies need to collaborate proactively to get to a better place. We need to come up with a common point of view and game plan. It can't be a zero sum game, i.e. one wins, one loses. If we remain in separate rooms in this discussion, I don't think either will like the outcome.
