Mustang Love in Hawai'i

Out of morbid curiousity, I decided to watch some of the Hawai'i v. USC game and caught an interesting sight. After USC's first touchdown, the camera picked up a groundskeeper in the background with an SMU hat on!

On another note, they have already discussed June at least once, but failed to mention his new home. Other than that it's pretty much been a USC love fest on the ESPN side.

The Hawai'i offense is at least moving the ball, but their defense has got to come up with some stops. I'm definitely pulling for them though, especially after that spineless two point attempt by Kiffin.

USC's defense looks horrendous. I thought Monte Kiffin was supposed to be the greatest defensive coordinator to ever grace a football field with his presence? Looks like swiss cheese out there tonight.

His Tampa-2 doesn't really work without pressure from the front 4, add in inexperienced DBs and you have a recipe for disaster. Hawaii's QB should be able to either run or pass all over them in the 2nd half now that he has settled down.

Hawai'i was cheated out of that touchdown, but this is a much better game than I expected.

USC does look sloppy and out of sync. Apparently Lane Kiffin has not been able to teach his team discipline.
