Emmanuel Sanders scores his first TD in the NFL as a Pittsburgh Steeler against the Carolina Panthers.
Bryan McCann leads the Dallas Cowboys with the most tackles (7) against the Miami Dolphins.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for McCann. I think he will make an excellant pro player but he did not look impressive Thursday night. He had a great tackle against Ricky Williams but he allowed a TD pass and played off his receives too much.

The number of tackles is misleading.

I imagine a better stat is broken up receptions, not tackles after he let his guy catch the ball

The good thing for McCann is that his competition,Gordon, didn't play well either.

I guess Bryan is misleading us with his Facebook post. He says he had 7 solo tackles last night,

I thank Sanders makes the cut. McCann is playing OK - he is playing like a rookie. If they cut him another team will pick him up. I think the Cowboys will want to keep him, so they may not cut him. He can fill in if there is an injury, but is a year or two away from being a regular. McNeal will not make the cut. He will be on their scout team and no one else will pick him up. If he works hard he may make the team next year.

Sanders made the team a long time ago. It is very rare for third round draft picks to get cut and Sanders won't be one of those guys.

He had the tackles but as mentioned, it was due to playing loose on receivers. He was against the Miami 1st team so loose may have been the way he was told to play. He did not do bad at all except the slant for a TD. He was out of position.

Shawnbrey McNeal - His runs were quite mediocre and he didn't get a chance to shine in the kicking game. He also failed to keep a punt out of the end zone on punt coverage.

Sure wish Shawnbrey had stuck around for another year.
