I didn't know Reinbold coached under Vermeil. Was it with the Eagles or Rams?

He never said that he coached under Vermeil.

He never said that he coached under Vermeil.

I think, he has said it previously, hasn't he?

His coaching career in professional football was in the Canadian league (CFL) and NFL Europe. No NFL positions according to his resume.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

yeah, I've never studied his resume closely, but it seems there must have been some connection for their paths to cross.
I found this on a coaches' blog:

"Jeff Reinebold, former DB coach of the Kansas City Chiefs under [deleted] Vermeil is coming to Ireland for a few days this week. "

Interesting that there is no mention of that in his resume posted on smumustangs.com.
