It just says Tommy Tuberville will win in Lubbock. I agree with that. I am pretty sure he will get a win in Lubbock when Weber State comes to town.

anyone who thinks we are catching a break because of the change in Tech's coaching staff is unfamiliar with Tubberville's track record. If SMU finds a way to win this game, it's because June Jones has significantly upgraded our talent level and our guys executed the game plan to perfection

Beware of those 4th and short situations when you are playing a team coached by "the riverboat gambler"

Agree it's about our whole team showing up and executing.

I saw these facts about The Riverboat Gambler - hopefully, we give him some 7- out, new shootahh.

In 2009 the Red Raiders went for it on 4th down 32 times and were successful 22 times, or, 68.75 percent of the time.

Conversely, in 2005 at Auburn, Tuberville attempted 13 fourth down conversions and were successful nine times, or 69.23 percent of the time.

Tuberville's a good coach but there's ALWAYS a break-in period in implementing new systems. The Tech we'll see will not be as good as the mid season Tech. Conversely, there are a lot of known unknowns with them...

Isn't Tubbs 0-fer in openers?

No. His Auburn opener against App State (they weren't very good back then) was a win. 22-16, but still a win.
