we will have to "bump" this thread periodically throughout the day's tailgating to keep it standing alone as the "official" game thread. Maybe some pre-game pics to get us in the mood?

Something to keep us entertained.

Why Texas Tech?

Some very eloquent points here, I especially like the blonde chick. Why does she keep looking down, is she a hostage, kidnap victim? Is she doing the interview at "Guns Up" point?

Some more Tech fan (and Lubbock police) douchery. Check out the sexy belly on the big boy getting arrested:

Any reports from the front lines in Lubbock? How was the Overton party?

We dominated the bars and restaurants. It's almost too easy. It's like playing with my 4 year old nephew. I might go back to the overton bar when I require an oxygen tank and a walker.

I forgot Eddie P requires bottle service.

If I was forced to go into a trendy club, I would probably insist on bottle service. But since I don't enter trendy clubs, it has not been an issue.

Has anyone taken a right cross from a Tech fan wearing brass knuckles yet?

Trendy clubs in Lubbock? What, shoes are required?

So you're saying you slammed back some Presidente Margaritas at Chili's, or some brews at Cheddar's, or maybe you went REAL upscale and had a chocolate martini at Tony Roma's to go along with your ribs?

(Admittedly that took a little research to get actual drinks from those establishments)

Not to put too fine a point on it, but this place flat out sucks. I'm debating whether or not to just remain in my hotel room and listen to Arcade Fire all day rather than go outside. But I think my overpowering hangover will make that decision for me.

The Suburbs is bueno. I've got a mix going right now of that and Gorilla Manor by Local Natives. Getting me primed to get my drink on.
