Postby WorldStang » Sun Sep 05, 2010 8:10 pm

Curious what he had to say..

Anybody out there have the radio post-game interview or post game press conference?

Yeah Padron was gassed......how about quit running him back and forth to give him the play EVERY time?.....Kyle ran more than anyone out there ..........from sideline to sideline. That contributed to his 'gassed' state.....and add the 148 degree turf, you can imagine how he felt. Use some damn signals coach!

Thanks. Pretty fair analysis. He was very aware of the conditioning factor. That isn't out of shape, but lack of depth. Losing a key receiver and not having enough 2 deep on defense showed.

The good news is we have progressed to talking about improved depth instead of trying to get 11 decent starters on the field. We have decent starters and some good 2 deep. We just need more.

JJ summarized the game well and commented on key moments and challenges. In the end, I agree with him, we will get better and better.

Did you notice after his 18 yard scramble on the other side of the field, Padron sprinted from the opposite sideline to Jones, and then sprinted back to the huddle? Not to complain or question Jones in any way, just an observation.
