http://www.baltimoreravens.com/News/Art ... 90610.aspxOn if they are excited about adding CB Bryan McCann: “Yeah, we’re excited about the new guys, and Bryan was a guy we really were impressed with in the preseason. [He] kind of came out of nowhere for them. Fundamentally, [he is] a very solid player with good speed, so it’ll be a new start for him.â€

This is a great situation for Bryan. The Ravens are very shallow at corner, this represents his best chance to get on the field. Plus it cant hurt learning in a great defense on a championship caliber team.

Could be a lot of fun with McCann and ES in the same division.

Cowboys will probably regret and soon not keepng him. 3 corners is not enough for any team.

yeah, he is signed onto the 53 man roster.
You can't stash a 4.3 corner with size and good fundamentals on a practice squad very often.

Whenever a player is in the final cuts before the 53 man roster is finalized, he must pass through waivers before he can be added to the practice squad. Any player claimed off waivers MUST be added to the 53 man active roster. Since Bryan was placed on waivers by the Cowboys, the Ravens had to place him on the roster if they claimed him. I'm sure they wanted him on the roster anyways.
Cowboys did something similar a couple years ago with Justin Rogers. After he was placed on waivers by the Pats we picked him up and added him to the roster.
