They are adding a Div 1AA program with a 12,000 seat stadium. Villanova with be an AQ conference program in 4 years. What a joke...

Nova is FCS but a member of the Big East in other sports and currently ranked #2 in FCS.

The implication, to me, is that there would be more stability in the Big East and fewer spots to fill should other schools get picked off. So, more stability for CUSA.

Well I guess the TCU fans that were saying that they might get an invite to the Big East are not happy to hear this.

You know, I wish the NCAA would put a stop to any more schools moving up, and then I wish ESPN/Fox Sports/CBS/NBC would sit down with the current FBS members and conference reps and figure out a system that would be mutually beneficial for everyone.

So schools shouldn't be able to move up, regardles of their resources, size, etc.?

The NCAA already has guidelines for moving up, so as long as they are followed what's the problem?

Cause I continue to be frustrated by teams that have gone from FCS to FBS to BCS conference while better teams are still stuck on the outside. I don't really have a problem with them moving up, but to get to the second half of my post I think it would be easier to negotiate if everyone knew that the current teams were all that needed to be accommodated for.

I doubt the Big East goes four years without a major shift. By the time Villanova is added the Big East may have a completely different roster.
