Directv on Blvd

Got my setup and dish.. Anyone around that can help me catch the signal on the Blvd tomorrow? First time setup for my Directv on blvd..

Depending where you are it can be very easy or difficult. We are directly acrross from the Crow Building and have a massive tree on our space, which provides great shade, but makes finding a signal rather difficult. I went online a few years ago and bought a signal finder, similar to the ones the instaliation people use and that seemed to help quite a bit.

Get a signal finder...otherwise it can take anywhere from 30 seconds to 3 hours to find a good signal.

Also bring a long cable in case you need to move your dish away from the trees. If you still have trouble you might consider a tri-pod stand. Good luck.

if you or anyone in your crew has an iphone, i've heard there's an application for that. no idea if it actually works, but i imagine it would.

Put parental control on or someone like me might change the channel to something else

I don't know the number yet but I have been recruited to bartend at a friend's space

i think they're mostly in the 600's.
