So, WSU didn't have a ton of passing yds - 204 yds and rushing - 112 yds against a Big Sky opponent.
Picked off 3 which probably helped a lot

112 yards rushing and one run was for 70. 42 yards for the rest of the game!

OK, WSU is going to get crushed.

Last year they had 239 passing and 37 rushing against us.

Turnovers are absolutely the key...

the word is that their front 4 on defense is going to try and take KP out. If we take our shots and protect the ball, we win.

On a date? Or just knock him out of the game?

They probably will take him out because of their own poor play and allowing multiple TD's in the first half.

haha, i dont know. Wolfgramm and Hoffman Ellis (LB) might be in to that too  . I heard this in a phone conversation with my bud Eric on Sunday. The DL is their best unit, pac10 caliber players, but they are going to be in for a fight. SMU is much more physical on both sides of the ball since last year. Myron Beck (former Duff recruit) and Nwachikwu (S) are fundamentally sound players, the LB core is ok. Beat the cougs!

Montana State completely fell apart at the end of the game. 3 interceptions and an 11 play drive without a score. They out gained WSU and had far more first downs.

Looks kind of like a team without the depth to stay with a BSC school for a full 4 quarters.

SMU has the talent and depth to go 4 quarters with a BSC team (TTU for sure).

TTU and UAB both had solid athletes in the front 4 position. Our O line is up to the task as I doubt WSU has a better front 4 than TTU or UAB.

WSU's linebackers better be better than OK since we have a running game and hopeful a passing game Sat.

WSU loss to OSU isn't as impressive as our loss to TTU. Their dramatic come from behind win against a FCS team isn't as impressive as our dominations win against a FBS team.

I like our chances to beat this team soundly.

I will be surprised if we don't soundly beat WSU in all phases of the game.

win by 1 or 50...

just win. this could be a trap game as much as any one on the schedule, as we are not good enough to believe the press/vegas line or our girlfiends (fat or otherwise). be interesting to see how being favored by 22 plays out in overconfidence, or domination.
