C-USA this weekend

The conference has a chance to make some real noise this weekend:
Houston at UCLA
Kansas at Southern Miss
Washington State at SMU
Northwestern at Rice
MTSU at Memphis
ECU at Virginia Tech
Marshall at Bowling Green
Tulsa at Oklahoma State
Troy at UAB
UCF at Buffalo
New Mexico State at UTEP
Every single one of these games is winnable, and while some of them are reach games, some are games that would put teams on the map. Any win at UCLA is big. Any win vs. a Va Tech team, even one 0-2 (and now missing a starting DL), is big. SMU and USM should both be favored. Tulsa has a chance to win some in-state bragging rights and Northwestern is a beatable team.
NMSU, Buffalo, and Bowling Green are good teams to get first wins against.
Looking forward to this Saturday.

UAB and Tulsa will be hard pressed to win those games. If Keenan does not play against UCLA it could be be tough for UH.

I think except for SMU, CUSA could get swept....that is not a promising line up for the conference.

UAB can lose but need the others to win. ECU at VaTech is huge, but VT will probably pull a Kansas (vs. GT) and knock that one out.

USM -5 to -5.5
ECU +18 to +17.5 (looks too big)
Tulsa +6.5
SMU now -22.5
Marshall -2.5 to -3
UCF -8 to -9
Rice +6
UH -3
UAB +3.5 to +4.5
Memphis +6
UTEP -15 to -15.5
odds-makers predict 6-5 for CUSA, 7 games within a TD, should be interesting

New Mex St is golly-awful, so no way UTEP loses that.
Houston wins big over UCLA.
SMU crushes WSU.
UCF over Buffalo.
There's four probable wins right there.

I think ECU continues the freefall for Va Tech.

If CUSA can win 5 of those games, we've done pretty well. ECU has the highest hurdle. Va Tech will be angry
