Posted: Wed Sep 15, 2010 10:11 amAlthough the weather is dicey that time of year, there are some fabulous golf courses at Pinehurst not too far away and you might be able to get a decent rate that time a year on greens fees.

Posted: Wed Sep 15, 2010 12:08 pmif you want to golf, go about 40 minutes south and some great courses along 17. My folks live on a Nicklaus/Dye course in Wilmington, whcih also has some great courses.
