1. Driving from Seattle to Pullman then back to Seattle in one day was one of the worst decisions of my life.
2. Their stadium is an absolute joke. It blew my mind that they play PAC 10 football in that sewer.
3. Pullman sucks. No other way to say it. The town was dreadful. NOTHING to do.
4. Their fans were extremely pleasant and friendly. My g/f and I sat right at the 50 and were literally the only SMU fans not sitting in the endzone area. They all shook my hand and patted me on the back after BLM ripped my heart out of my chest and showed it to me just before I died.
5. I've never watched a football game so one-sided with the dominant team losing. Literally it was a shocking experience. We marched up and down the field at will and due to one moron who plays the most important position on the field we lost the game. I maybe said five words for the first three hours of the drive back to Seattle afterwards.
6. The only solace I took was in someone storming the field for beating SMU. That is really funny.
7. I was thinking even then how badly we would face rape them upon their return to Dallas. They have terrible athletes and were the luckiest team in America that day to win the game.

No way this team scores 17 or 14 or anything unless we turn the ball over. Their O hasn't improved from its dismal self last year and our D is imporved.

I think the game is so out of hand by the 3rd quarter that we put in a lot of young guys/reserves so we don't get anyone hurt before the TCU game. I think they'll get a garbage TD or two then.

You have seen WSU in person. I have only seen highlights from last year. So my opinion is based on less information than you have.

Based on that declaration of information, I still don't think they can score against our young guys/ reserves even late in the game.

I know, I know, I have drunk the Kool-aid. But this team is so much better than previous teams. We are winning with solid defense and ball controlled offense. The traditional method of winning. And that method wears other teams down in the late 3rd and 4th quarters.

The late score is a plausible and possible scenario. But 17 points late? Still hard for me to imagine that.

I do think we can beat this team by 22.5 points.

Undeniably we are much improved defensively. Maybe I'm being too generous to WSU. Either way we roll them easily.

This post is awesome. I cracked up while reading it. Of all the SMU losses I've experienced over the years, that was one of the most bitter. I'm sure our players feel the same way and circled this one on the calendar. SMU will beat Wazzou down this weekend.

that sounds like a bad deal. I walked about 2 miles from my house, went to the game, after overtime met up and BS'd with June and Jeff by the busses, headed up to Valhalla for a little drink, had a burger at Dupus, then eased the night away with the starting libero on WSUs volleyball team. Kelly more than made up for the loss, no question!
