Randy Galloway and whoever his side kick is, were discussing the SMU/WSU game and asking were in the world are the SMU supporters? Spoke highly of the job JJ has done, the team and stadium. Also spoke how embarrassing the size of crowd was at the UAB game. Get out and support this team, Mustang fans!!!! See you at the Ford!

The weather was poor, the game was not advertised, and the opponent is so obscure that nobody knew they were a DI-A team unless they followed CUSA football as a whole.

It will improve. Maybe not this week.

Does anyone listen to Grandpa Urine anymore? Tell him to go look at TCU's attendance in the early 2000's when they were starting their turnaround. Paltry wouldn't do it justice. Fact of the matter is that TCU has built a winner consistently over the past decade and are JUST NOW seeing their fans turn out and filling up their stadium. If SMU continues to do what its doing we will see a packed Ford week in and week out. But to say that its "embarassing" to have a little over 16K at a home opener on a 97 degree night against UAB is just stupid. We've been good for exactly one year. Its going to take a little longer to convince people this isn't a fly by night thing we are seeing. Tell that d-wad to shut up and enjoy getting his [deleted] kicked by The Ticket.

The key is we are being talked about by the media and in the context that we are winning - free press.

Don't pick on Randy Galloway. He is the face of the 15th most listened to radio station by men in the entire DFW market.

I will be there and bring a buddy with me. Will bring the entire family to the TCU game (save one that is at another school). That is what I can do so I do it.

I don't have the time now to look it up but I can remember going to a TCU vs. Colorado State game a few years back and you could sit wherever you want. The fact of the matter is we aren't there yet. That goes for our progress on the field, in recruiting, or in attendance at games. The train is just now leaving the station and some idiots expect us to arrive at our destination in one year. This will take time. Even by June's admission he believes our best football is probably a year to a year and a half away. The fans will show up when we win with consistency.

Galloway - I guy no sane person would listen to, with the ratings to prove it - complaining about our attendence - is the height of irony.

I second this. I've always thought he was a [deleted].

Where are the SMU fans? Having successful careers, unlike Galloway.

And I ask Galloway, where is your brain?

That guy is a beating, just stirs the pot to get ratings, doesn't ever discuss facts, just tries to get a rise out of people. I stopped paying attention to him years ago

Was Galloway at the game? If not, why not?

Randy Galloway is 100% correct. TCU never had anything like SMU's attendance problems. I can post the numbers again.
