where is Parks? hes gotta be better than thomas or crawford, even if he doesn't know the coverages as well.

He got burned on the final Washington St TD. Not pretty.

We need some tall guys back there defending the receivers........to me, that is our weakest area.......at least we had someone knock the ball down and save a touchdown. I realize it's hard to defend someone who is taller than you, but they need to learn to try to make a play rather than just watch it. I was hoping SM wouldn't play today so that he can get healthy and play Friday.
KICK 'EM MUSTANGS!!!

The bright spot is that Richard Crawford appears to be improving. My guess is that he probably didn't have to contend with as many big, talented receivers in the JUCO circuit. He has the speed and his coverage has been tight, but he doesn't go up and contend for the ball. In JUCO and high school, being close to a receiver and screening them is often enough to cause a drop. Not so at this level.

But I saw a nice pass defense in the end zone where he went up and tipped the ball away from a big WR, and he had a terrific open-field tackle.

All that being said, we REALLY need Sterling back for TCU. Sterling is generally thought of by players and coaches as being one of our best defensive players (some have said THE best, but I think that may have been slight flattery), and we'll need everything we've got Friday night.

Is Sterling a go for TCU then or is it still up in the air?

There is no way Moore misses this game
