True - I think there are not a lot left on blvd but could be wrong.
The way we are going to get the thousands more we need is for those attending to actively recruit new fans to join them. Hopefully, they will be big enough that they can enjoy the pregame with you but sit by themselves (in other words buy and occupy additional seats.

FWIW: I saw teammates I haven't seen in years at this game. My interpretation is that apathy in SMU football, in those that have endured the unendurable, is coming to an end. It isn't just the lost generation, it is those that remember the wins and can't endure the pathetic loses that affect attendance.
Call them fair weather fans, but I see them as high pride fans that choice not to support an unsupportable product.
They are now returning. Win and that will continue and more will come back to SMU.

i think that may have been the second hottest game i've ever been to, after the kansas game to open the stadium.

It was changed to be on National TV...CBSCS and BTW the 7:00 PM games aren't so cool either...wives that aren't big SMU football fans are difficult to get back to watch in that heat.

Just keep winning and they will come. A win friday night = more butts in seats in future games. It's not rocket science.

just win and show up..
tired of excuses on times, heat, etc. plenty of room in the shade after kickoff on the west side
the good:
1) selling tickets on the BLVD.
2) selling cheaper tickets
3) Bus Brigade
4) The Climb TV Show
5) winning
6) more students are attending games
enough about the damn attendance
