DMN: JJ counting on Moore this Friday

http://collegesportsblog.dallasnews.com ... -fast.htmlWhen SMU came out for pre-game drills, Moore was dressed in full uniform. But when the team returned for the kickoff, the uniform pants had been replaced by shorts.
Moore was told by team doctors that the swelling was still enough to keep him out of the game.
"The doctor came in and pulled the plug on me," Moore said this morning, after sitting out another practice. "They wanted to see me before [warmups], but I was kind of avoiding him 'cause I knew he probably wouldn't want me to play."
Coach June Jones is counting on Moore being available when fourth-ranked TCU comes to Ford Stadium this Friday night.
"We're not the same team when Sterling's not there," Jones said.

Sterling will be ready and focused. Now we need Crawford to step his stuff up.

At the lunch today, Coach Mason said he was "day to day" and going to the doc today.....not what I wanted to hear.

I would rather see him sit than kill his knee and his future.
