One of the major design problems with Ford is that considering it is SMU a large number of their fans will want to be in the club level. The problem is the club level is completely enclosed behind a wall of glass so on television it is hard to tell if there is 1 person in there or 5,000. Not to mention those fans can't add a single thing to the game day atmosphere.

They are right about that. Non operable windows in the club section was a big mistake - but the blue hairs would revolt if their hair and make-up got smudged by humidity in excess of 25%.

we need to replace the wall of glass with some windows that pop open - circle of champions anyone???

That makes me so angry because any and all fans behind the glass you can't hear down on the field....and as I understand it the glass can't be moved or opened...why? The whole purpose is to root the guys on and if you can't hear them behind the glass wall....WTF?
A fish bowl is so silly when you should be supporting the team.

i know it costs extra to have the glass moveable...so what? make it open to make it noisy......if you have enough funds to pay for those seats, then open it up so the great kids we have can hear you......

Not to worry, they will have the same problem when their stadium is remodeled with suites added. Will be interesting to see if their big dollar folks want to be cooped up in air conditioning too.

That's not totally correct. The club seats will be outside, but there will be an air conditioned/heated club behind the seats like at Reliant. The suites will have outside seats like at the Ranger Stadium.

There are many problems with Ford. The huge pressboxes also are out of scale with the stadium, so in addition to the problems above it makes the stadium look really small time and tiny.

Also, I assume it is because the slope of the stands and the openness, no sound gets trapped in the stadium. It all just bounces right out.

Bump......I hope NO one is......we have alot more going on in Dallas.
