this one is mostly about June, some Mike Leach footage, Friday night session/hotel, and Wash State. Not sure if it happened to you guys but the audio was off the last segment.

Actually, next week they are going to change the name of the show to The Mount, which is what Peruna is going to do to the horny toads mascot.

Great footage of the punt return debacle. To me, it clearly shows the WSU player a) actually being pushed slightly to the side of, rather than towards Darius and b) clearly changing direction on his own and lunging towards Darius. Would love to watch that replay with the refs and hear what they had to say.

Also, the ref's explanation was interesting. Hopefully he just misspoke. To quote:
"On the replay, a receiver was pushed into his teammate, the teammate touched the ball, the ball was recovered in the end zone by the kicking team, that's a touchdown."

SURELY that was not what he meant to say and the ref did not really think that an SMU player was the one who was pushed into Darius? If he did actually think he saw that (with the benefit of replay even), then he probably should not be reffing at any level. Reasonable people could (I suppose) differ about whether the WSU guy was pushed into Darius, but no way could anyone think that an SMU guy was shoved into Darius.

Another fun episode, have to pinch myself to make sure I am not dreaming that there is a well produced weekly show on national TV all about SMU football.

So this show follows the season? It's not just pre season Hard Knocks? All season?

I have to say that I am pretty impressed with the production quality of the show. Because I hadn't heard anything about it until maybe the day before it aired for the first time, I figured it was going to be something they just threw together. Remember that show they tried in Phil Bennett's last year? That one wasn't very impressive. It had Brad Sham on it, who (with all due respect to you Cowboys fans) sucks.
