Seriously, though, nobody would give a [deleted] if we have a banner that says "Go SMU, beat UAB, Marshall, etc." No sense in blowing that budget on games against people no one knows or cares about. People in the metroplex will actually pay attention to this game, for better or for worse, and it sends
some sort of message that we give a damn, too. N
It will be nice to see them do this for UH as well, regardless of their record. And in the coming years, when we play TCU, TT, A&M, Baylor, Rice, UTEP, and Houston they need to do this on a regular basis.
