I'm not gonna lie. I had a dream about the game Monday night and we lost 31-28 with a last second field goal. Unfortunately for me, I fell asleep during the fourth quarter in my dream. Must have been exhausted. Not fun waking up to see we had lost by three.

You aren't a true pony fan until you can say you've dreamt an entire game

Boy oh boy... wish I was going to be there.
(And I have dreamt entire games... most of them were nightmares... one year the day before the season started I dreamt that UT Dallas decided to field a team and we were there first opponent.... and they blew us out.)

I dreamt twice this week that we win by a field goal. Different scores each time, but I'll take the outcome. I think God has been speaking to me in my dreams!

Thad's dream is coming true. Doh has scheduled a game with something called Dallas Christian a school I never knew existed other than the high school by the same name.

Wow, I grew up a mile from this place and didn't know it even existed. I thought it was just a complex of office buildings.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dallas_Christian_CollegeDallas Christian College (DCC) is a four-year undergraduate institution affiliated with the Christian Church. Despite its name it is located in the suburb of Farmers Branch, Texas.
History
On 10 May 1949, Vernon Newland met with 40 concerned Texas church leaders to discuss establishing a Bible college in the Dallas area to train men and women for the ministry. Dallas Christian College opened for classes in Downtown Dallas on September 12, 1950. The present campus is located in Farmers Branch, a suburb just north of Dallas. The school has grown much and has trained more than 2,000 students for the ministry. It is accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education.[1]
[edit] Athletics
DCC has men’s and women’s basketball and soccer teams as well as the addition of a men's baseball team as of fall 2009. They compete in the NCCAA and the ACCA.
[edit] Concert Choir
They go on an annual choir tour where they sing at community churches across the country. In 2006 they joined the SMU Meadows Choir to sing at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas.
[edit] Quote from the President
Dallas Christian College has been a place where men and women have come to dream about their places in the kingdom...it has been a place where they were actually equipped to fulfill those dreams -President Dustin D. Rubeck [2]
[edit] Mission
Educating and Mentoring Students to Be People of Influence, Under God’s Influence, For a Life of Influence

Our nonconference schedule in hoops is actually high comedy. What a collection of turds. Not that we have any place to be calling someone else a turd. TCU is our only non-conference opponent that ranks as a true D-1 by football standards.
Fri. Nov. 12 Arkansas - Little Rock 8 p.m.
Tue. Nov. 16 at TCU 7 p.m.
SMU Invitational (Lamar, Portland State, UC Riverside)
Fri. Nov. 19 Portland State 3 p.m.
Sat. Nov. 20 UC-Riverside 5:30 p.m.
Sun. Nov. 21 Lamar 7 p.m.
Wed. Nov. 24 Wayland Baptist 7 p.m.
Sun. Nov. 28 Central Arkansas 2 p.m.
Wed. Dec. 1 at Louisiana Tech 7 p.m.
Sat. Dec. 4 Grambling State 5 p.m.
Sat. Dec. 18 at McMurry 7:30 p.m.
Wed. Dec. 22 Alabama State 7 p.m.
Wed. Dec. 29 Southeast Missouri State 7 p.m.

Listen... I know this is the football board and TCU tomorrow and all, but why in the hell is SMU playing a D3 team on the road in Abilene?
