Boy the story this week was a real kiss-ass puff piece for the "great" George Steinbrenner. I wonder how much that cost his Estate

Best ones so far have been the Two Escobars, One Night in Vegas, June 17, 1994, and Without Bias.
I'm sure Pony Excess will be the best of the bunch.

Have only seen Two Escobars - excellent, but agree that Excess will be the best.

Thanks for saying... Escobars is amazing... And who knows if we can come close? But you all can take heart in the fact that I know we are leaving it all on the field.
I told the troops from day one... if we are going to do this let's do this with the thought that we will make the best of the 30.
Now, it's not for me - or any of us PFers, or any of my crew to decide - but I do know that we have put together a piece that I feel deserves to at least be in the argument... and I feel comfortable saying that, because I know that it wasn't me that put us there... it was the incredible crew who surrounded me.
Also, I will note that the Amazon run time is wrong... and there better darn well be a BluRay release.... and if I am telling you that about the runtime, imagine what I am not telling you about anything else.

Dude, sorry bro... Just noticed you had only 20 posts. I wasn't trying to jump on you. If you meant is this an ESPN 30 for 30 like The U was, then the answer is yes.
If you are asking if this film is like The U, then my original answer stands. (I'm not saying anything about The U, just noting our film is very different.)

Will it feature poetry slam narration by a Dickerson look alike?

Escobars was great and the June 17 was amazing. Crazy how all these great sports moments were going on (World Cup opening, NY Rangers victory parade, home run records, NBA Finals, Arnold Palmers last major...) at the same time OJ made his famous ride in a Bronco.

I liked the One night in Vegas one...but thought the standup narrative part took away from it
Two Escobars was very good

I loved 2 Escobars and really enjoyed the Ricky Williams one as well. Without Bias sucked, and this is coming from a guy who knew Len Bias quite well. One Night in Vegas was good as well, and the U was entertaining just b/c the U is entertaining. I was at the Cotton Bowl game vs UT, and it was like a public execution w/dancing. So memorable

forgot about the UT-Miami Cotton Bowl game. I was at a new year's eve party the previous night and got home about 2 hours before the game started. I stayed awake because I was curious to see some of the game. I lasted until about the end of the first quarter

I doubt if the cameras could have captured how truly nauseating Miami's behavior was that day-it was really pathetic and I'm not usually the type to complain about a little showboating. It was truly an embarrassment to the entire university
