But...

This was not our Superbowl. I just heard you allude to that on espn. 5 years ago when we sucked? Maybe. But this team of ours has goals for this season. Whether we won or lost, those goals were not going to change. We are gunning for our conference championship, a game we plan to win at home.

GP really makes for a great villain on the other side of this game. The thin-skinned commentary coming out of Ft Worth this week made me think that, if we ever have a truly legit squad out there, this could be a nice prickly rivalry. And it's a perfect offset to Jones' who-cares-about-TCU-I-am-an-NFL-coach act.

so which rivals coach do you like. These comments crack me up. Patterson is a slob but he runs a clean program and a class program. Just beat him-winning coaches aren't popular when they beat you year after year.

have to agree. that was fine to say once before the game to make sure your team doesnt sleep on smu, to say it again after the game is bush league all the way. really it is.

On WBAP post game he said "well SMU has been preparing for this game since Spring"...thanks, Gary..

No way TCU plays in BCS chamionship after this game..

they are beatable and no where near the top 2 teams in this country, unless we are in russia...

which is bullcrap, because i think JJ was too casual about this game, and it sort of showed coaching wise i thought. players were jacked up.

Patterson has a bad sweating problem. Homeboy was always cleaning his face with a towel when they cut to him. I bet he is far from a good smelling man.

He does realize this was our 4th game of the year right? Or does he not pay attention to anything outside Fort Worthless?
