From a Frog Fan - Great Game!

The stadium was packed and rocking. A great showcase for your team!

Zack Line is a load and a half! When that kid gets momentum, he is tough to bring down! Padron is tough - he took some incredible hits and kept coming back. Why'd he hold the ball so long on pass plays?

I've watched all the TCU games the last two years and I'd put SMU right up their with Clemson, Oregon State, and Air Force. And SMU would beat Baylor by four touchdowns.

Easy there. Going to SMU is nowhere near the same as going to Clemson.

Also SMU doesn't have the athletes OSU does or the discipline and maturity of an Air Force team.

SMU when they're on their A game and fired up can keep it very close and entertaining for 3 quarters. However they don't have the athletes, plays, or focus to handle 4 quarters just yet.

I still think in two years SMU will be the favorite in this game. Expect next year's line at TCU to be around 7-10, only because it's at home.

I expect us to really give you a run for your money next year. We lose maybe 4-5 seniors, but most of our skill position guys are back, especially on offense.

By far the most entertaining football game environments I've been to at Ford. Great game, gents.

TCU has some good athletes. The O line is really loaded. No doubt the best team won. Good luck busting the BSC again.

Death Valley > Ford Stadium. Let's not go overboard on the whippets, kids. Good game though. We'd beat the Branch Davidian's by about 21-28 points this year if we're on our game like tonight.

TCU Fans online have been pretty classy and I hope this doesn't sound too un-classy, but TCU is no where near the # 4 team in the nation.

#12, maybe.

TCU Chicks at the game easily equal to or superior to SMU chicks.

Aside from Alabama and maybe Ohio State...who can say who the top 5 teams in the country are? Boise?? TCU??? They are solid football teams but realistically may not be any better on any given night than any other program in the top 15 or so.

The difficulty TCU has is they will now start getting passed by BCS programs that have successful runs in conference play...all because of strength of schedule. We can do our part to "help" our rival by winning out ourselves. Winning a CUSA title and beating Navy on the road would be huge for our program and would help TCU's credibility because beating CSU, Wyoming, UNLV and SDSU isn't going to help.

TCU is definitely top 10. Beyond that time will tell. They played to form today. Came within 1/2 point of the spread (though most were predicting them to beat the spread - not SMU fans but talking heads and handicappers)

Blocked XP for winning or losing the spread... got to love that.

I agree that this was a very good showing by SMU. TCU's lines eventually overpowered SMU's, but not consistently at first, and that is not something TCU fans have to admit very often.

Margus Hunt got around Marcus Cannon a few times early-- very impressive.
June Jones's gameplanned very craftily for our young linebacker-- he overpursued consistently, leaving gaping holes for Zach Line. Glad Oregon State didn't see that weakness; JaQuizz would have been monstrous in that role. I'm also glad we get Colorado State next-- almost a bye week to fix that.

Speaking of Mr. Line: he and that belly draw are deadly. I expect a lot of recruiters are muttering under their breath about how the could have missed on Line.

If Padron can get rid of it a little sooner (TCU's d-backs have something to say here) and SMU's linemen can up the quality of their push, I expect the Battle for the Iron Skillet to be a rowdy one indeed, for years to come. Glad its in Fort Worth next year.
