Prediction Revisions, Anyone?

okay, now that we've battled both tech and tcu better than many (most?) thought we would at the outset of the season, does anyone feel like revising their original preseason predictions? or, if you didn't make a prediction, you could always toss your hat in the ring now.

here's the main thread for predictions made:

as for me, I'm standing pat (12-2; yeah crazy optimism still).
you?

I didn't think we would beat Navy, but now I think we could handle them with our defense playing well. Houston is terrible now with a 3rd string qb. Add 2 wins to my prediction

I"m not so ready to write off either, and i just get a bad feeling about navy on the road as well

2-2 is exactly where most hoped we would be at this point; got to win our home games to have any chance to improve on last year's record. One game at a time

I was in for 8 at the beginning of the season and I am going to stay with that. I think we can go 6-2 the rest of the way.

Silly me... +1 for the bowl game.

We should be favored for all our games but two: Navy and ECU
If everything goes to form, that means we win the west and do not host the champ game... but not so fast, ECU plays @ USM and @UCF so we could end up with more wins and host the game.

If we host the game I think we win.

so 2 or three more losses and eight or seven more wins...

9-5 or 10-4?

(I said 7-5 for the regular season originally)
8)

If our offense does not come around we could be in for some trouble down the line.

Houston still has more offensive weapons than any team in the conference. Most anticipated game of the Day is Houston's game to see if Broadway can run the offense. He could add a new dimension to the offense because he is reputed to be a great athlete. I think you ought to see how he responds before writing off Houston. He was a Top recruit and he has plenty of weapons including two nice RBs to take the heat off him. I do think SMU has a better front 7 defense. Need Sterling Moore to keep healthy

I'd prefer about any bowl game other than the ones in Dallas

he looked very impressive to me when he came into the ucla game. he ran and passed well. looked like he had a handle on the offense. so, it should be a good game.

Not enough depth to really revise my prediction of 6 or 7 wins. We have the potential to do WAY more than that, but we are one injury away in many positions from a major downgrade.

Also, Stallion is right about Houston; I seem to remember a true freshman coming in for the Ponies and winning a lot of games last year.
