If we had played perfect we had a chance. We didn't. Better players make fewer mistakes. Tcu shows that. But we are getting there. I liked the drive at the end of game. I probably kick it just bc of odds and to give mz more practice- and a guaranteed 14 pt close gm.
Go 3-1 or 4-0 in the next third. Beat rice then come home and make a statement v Tulsa.

If we don't beat Rice by a minimum of 2 TDs, I'm going to be pissed. I don't care that we haven't won in Houston since '86. I don't care that they "always play us tough". I don't care if they look improved from last season. We need to go down to Houston with something to prove, stomp a mudhole in their [deleted] and walk it dry. Period.

Rice is a big game for a variety of reasons. We do not have single player on the team that has beaten Rice in Houston. For some reason we come unglued down there. We had a huge week. We played well in the loss. Sometimes there is a
ental let down after a game like TCU. We still haven't gotten the passing game running.
The WSU game was big cause we beat ateam we should beat. Now we need to do it again.
And as great as a win over TCU would have been, this game means more to usandthe success of the season.
