Interesting quotes from Killerfrogs

Just reading through their board, thought I'd post some highlights.

Made a post last week over on PM that SMU was a 3 times better football team than Baylor. Well, they are 5 times better. They lost to Tech by one TD in Lubbock and their record doesn't reflect their worth.

And thank God SMU has stopped playing Peruna over and over during games -- maybe their own fans got tired of it and gave it the death penalty.

SMU played with Grit and no Quit,

FWST: Style points matter, and TCU didn't get any at SMU..........

The final score -- Frogs 41, Ponies 24 -- does not quite do justice to the scare The Fighting Junes put into everybody in purple at Gerald J. Ford Stadium. They refused to go away quietly, or as predicted. ...

Yeah I was talking with Reedfrawg about how pathetic SMU's Audio/Video gameday production was. How many times did they start AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" right after SMU's offense left the huddle and was about to snap the ball? Several times they'd just play 5 seconds of the song and then realize how ill-timed it was to be playing that when their team had the ball. Also it was funny how many old "Jock Jams" songs they played to hype up the crowd instead of playing something from this century.

SMU played great...they may not lose another game

all year.

Two tough road games at Navy and E.Car, but the way they played last night, they could win all of those.

The ignorant media and pundits must still think we are in 2008, when SMU is still a terrible CUSA bottom feeder thats good for 1 or 2 wins every year. Get with the times, people. I think SMU is about to have a good season, here is their schedule the rest of the way:

Zach Line is impressive

How did SMU get him? Good find for them. And he's only a sophomore. He'll be Gerhart-like in a couple years.

BTW, you're right. The dude [June Jones] is a helluva football coach. Runs circles around Briles.

Frog fan here. I think the average TCU fan has a renewed respect for SMU now. The difference between Baylor & SMU couldn't be more evident from this week to last. Yes, there are a few people that don't know anything about football talking about how we didn't get style points, but those people don't know whats going on at SMU. Jones has this team on the right track, and I predict that in a few weeks after the world sees what SMU is doing in conference that this TCU win is going to start looking good.

Nice game!

Damn West Coast. You know how much a lot of folks over here love to hate TCU...and you are doing your best to make that hard to do. 8)

I think if we stay healthy and focused, we can win the rest our games. If we go 10-2 with losses to TCU and Tech, that actually will do wonders for TCU if they win out.

One of the worst things about the death penalty moving is that we went 8-5 last year, blew out Nevada in a bowl game and have one of the best coaches in the country.....and not some people say, he, they are a bowl team from a year ago....it's always SMU is one of the worst programs in the nation.
