no turnovers/big hits
Posted: Sun Nov 30, 2003 1:21 pmRemarkable that SMU didn't have any turnovers. Even more remarkable I thought was that our guys laid several big licks that caused fumbles. TCU recovered them all I think, but I was proud of our guys for bringing it the way they did and holding onto the ball. That should give some confidence for next Sept. 11 at Fort Worth. Not much else to say about this season. It hurt, but its over. If Bennett can bring in a good class anyway, we can put this behind us. The media and everybody has short term thinking, but Bennett's real recruiting impact has not really even hit the field yet. Thanks seniors for all the hard work.
