Good for them, looking at their upcoming schedule they have a chance to be undefeated heading into their titanic showdown in Reno versus Boise State. Could see Gameday go over there for that one.

They are 4-0 and they beat the crap out of California a week or so ago.

they are a good team. We caught them w/ their pants down and without 2 leading rushers, loss of defensive coordinator and the shoplifters. I bet they would give us a very tough game now.

No. Their strengths & weaknesses do not match up with our strengths & weaknesses. Anytime SMU plays Nevada, SMU is going to either win or beat themselves. I'm not saying we are a better team than Nevada. I'm saying that that matchup heavily favors us.

They took it to BYU 27-13 on the road in Provo last nite as well as Cal. Can't really say their ranking is unjustified. Maybe suspect but they've played very well

Beat a good Cal team 52-31. Cal almost beat U of A last night.

"Suspect" may not be the best word to use when talking about Nevada footall.

Also, I believe after the Hawaii bowl trouncing, the Nevada fans wanted to get rid of Chris Ault, now he is probably a hero.

Good for them being ranked. Only makes the Hawaii Bowl win look more impressive to fans & writers.

good for them, indeed. Hope they win out and keep the ranking until they play Boise. They have feasted on MWC this year (CSU and BYU with UNLV coming up), but the MWC has credibility with pollsters based on many quality wins in recent years

Nevada is a different team on defense. They are # 26 in pass eff. defense. Last year they were #118 in pass Eff. Def.

They are #5 on total offense.

They destroyed Cal and beat BYU by 2TDs.

They should be at least #25

I went to the Nevada-Cal game. They looked good on both sides of the ball and the qb couldn't be stopped on the option run. They have a good team and are well supported.
