Teddy Roosevelt speaks for the 2003 Mustangs

Here are some words from Teddy Roosevelt that could be a salute to our 2003 Mustang Football Team, including the Seniors, who played for themselves, us and our university. Thank you!

"It is not the critic who counts, nor the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done better.

The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by the dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiently; who errs and comes up short again and again; who knows the great enthusiasms and the great devotions, and spends himself in a worthy cause; who, at best, knows in the end the triumph of high achievement; and, who at worst, if he fails at least fails while daring greatly ...so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither defeat nor victory."

Yeah but this year's Mustangs are the cold and timid souls that don't know victory at all!
