It seems some TCU babe was offended. Mommie and Daddy wrote to complain. Check out the comments.

The DMN was being a bit mischievous by printing this letter. Honestly, does Mrs. Johnson (can't believe she would put her real name to a letter such as this) think the majority of college fans in the DFW area will sympathizes with her? The DMN has, in essence, place a scarlet DA on her chest.

Yes, there was booing at the game but I seem to remember nothing but hospitality on the Boulevard. Plenty of purple hanging out with the red and blue.

Yes I'm proud of our fans for booing. This "Laura Johnson" needs to shut up and go sit in her house.

SMU fan conduct has now lead to three TCU supporters vowing to never come back, all because of mild verbal harassment?

And no TCU fans directed "You S U C K"'s toward SMU fans and students? They are perfect little angels in Fort Worth. And as for Mrs. Johnson's daughter, if she can't withstand a few verbal comments then I feel sorry for her when she enters the real world. You better learn to suck it up or you are in for 60 years of misery. Mrs. Johnson should also attend a TCU game in FW before passing judgement about SMU and Ford.
However, I strongly disagree with booing the opponsing team when they enter the stadium. I think the silent treatment has much more effect.

agree w/ DiamondM75. The real world sucks and is full of evil creatures. If being called names when you're in an opponent's backyard is so incendiary it leads to going home instead of going through with your plans, there's a lot to life that's gonna be much more cruel than that.

Apparently Mrs. Johnson did not teach her daughter that "sticks and stones may break my phones, but words will never hurt me."
They should go to a Maryland basketball game, and hear the [deleted] that comes out of their fans' mouths.

Johnson's are clueless, but the DMN should know better than to print this - someone had an agenda.
When we play in FW, let's see if the DMN or FWST will print the same.
The Johnson's should be attending Chess matches.

There is nothing wrong with printing a letter to the editor. If you ever read them, many are sent by kooks. The problem here is with the people that wrote the letter who were evidently under the belief that just because they were married that they should breed. And that is where they were in error.
