Aldrick had a great game. It was nice that the throws were there as well tonight!

A; equals still 1st in Yards per Catch average in the NCAA. He definitely increased his lead today. Huge game. Great job Al!

Al made the plays I expect him to make. He is our #1 for a reason, and he showed it tonight. His speed is unquestioned, but I was glad to see him pull in some contested catches. We need him to play like he did tonight in every game for us to win out. And I'm convinced we can do that.

Does 10 - 2 with close losses to TT and #5 TCU get you ranked?

I should think so.

Beasley also had some nice catches. With two or three quick, good receivers the D can't focus on just AR.

GO PONIES!!!

Who knows how the other schools do, that plays a lot into it, but I don't think a 10-2 team from CUSA that played and lost to their only ranked oppenent is rankable. Especially now that Tech got smoked by Iowa State.

If we win out and win the conference championship, I would hope that would be good enough for a ranking.

it will take winning out, winning conf champ game, then beating an SEC team in the bowl game in Memphis

Beasley also had some drive-killing drops early. He's been rather inconsistent this year, although he did end the game with pretty stellar numbers. But he MUST start making those grabs, especially important to make the early grabs so that the offense can get some momentum.

Al Robinson was just dynamite yesterday. There were 2 or 3 grabs that I thought there was no way he'd make, but he came up with all of them. Robinson seems to have really matured as a player. At the beginning of the year, June made a comment about how Al getting to watch the way Sanders practiced and prepared and how it paid off with a pro gig at Pittsburg had a big impact on the way Al Robinson now practices and prepares. To me, he seems like such a more complete receiver now rather than just a one-dimensional speedster. Darius, Cole, Keenan and Jeremy all need to pay attention.

While we're on the subject, congratulation to Patrick Fleming for his first, and well-deserved, TD as a Mustang.
