I don't care what the team looks like or how lucky you got. I don't care if the only reason you have 5 wins is because of 5 mysterious accidents led to 5 forfitures. YOU ARE 5-0. How clueless can you be?

What they need to do is wait until the end of the season and tell Gary Crowton, the OC, thank you for your service, but you've decided to move in another direction and then go hire a proven offensive genius and hand it over to him. Your defense is outstanding. You're special teams are outstanding. You're recruiting is outstanding, or at lease they were until they witnessed you dumb home crowd boo a winning team. And Jared Lee has shown he can at least move the team. Simplify the offense, build upon a simple, conservative passing game mixed in with a decent running attack, and you have a chance to beat Florida next week. What if this happens?

And yet, these same folks put up with Charlie Mac for decades. And it isn't like LSU has been ;laying the Rices, WSUs and UABs of the world. Tenn, UNC and WV are good teams.

LSU fans are nuts...their program sucked for most of last century and now they want to fire a coach who is 5-0 and has a national championship.

Wasn't it just about 10 years ago that LSU had kind of a half [deleted] SEC team just slightly better than say Miss St. ? I remember LSU going 5-6 or 4-7 back then. Didn't Les Miles win a National Title at LSU just a few years ago ? Man, how stupid can their fans be ?

The bolding is mine. UAB took the Volunteers into overtime in Knoxville. I'm not at all sure you can say one of those teams is better than the other.

Let Tennessee win an SEC game (of course they have Georgia this week, who is one of the other SEC doormats), then come back and we can talk about them being a good team.

The fans are frustrated. It is not rational because they are 5-0. They are looking at the other SEC West teams whose offensive production has soared while theirs has gone backwards. I believe what they are really worried about is that with this offense they don't have a chance to compete with 'Bama, Auburn or Ark. If they don't win 2 of those games then they will not get the second SEC BCS bid. Also their offense is so anemic that weaker SEC teams, like TN, Ole Miss & Miss St., will always have a shot to win the game.

Imagine how angry those fans would be if they lost to TN. TN who was outplayed and outcoached by UAB - lucky win.
