Good afternoon. I'm Rick Couri, the color analyst for Tulsa football and basketball. I take video of the weekly Monday news conference and thought you might like to see what coach Graham had to say about SMU. Todd was very complimentary of the team and coach Jones. Thank you for the video, but everytime I see Graham on the sideline, he looks so upset/like he ate a lemon. Just my 2 cents, but a nice video nonetheless

It is always nice to get a coach's feedback on what we're trying to achieve down here but I also like the hint of gamesmanship, talking us and our program up and hoping we buy into who great we are. I have no doubt JJ is reminding his players that, as he said at lunch today "our season will be defined by the Rice and Tulsa games".

Read somewhere else...was it the Tulsa World? Where Graham said he's making a conscious effort to be more laid back as a result of being caught in too many wtf moments on tv the last few seasons.

I had another thought as well...maybe Graham sees what's coming down the pike here in the next couple of years and he's posturing so that JJ won't run the score up on his boys when SMU needs "style points"
