Coach Bennett is quoted in the DMN as saying of this last year, "It's nobody's fault other than mine," and he then fires two assistants and reassigns another. If it's "nobody's fault" other than his, how does firing two competent assistants change that?

Maybe you can go over to killerfrogs and help convince everyone walking across the street for a platter of regular nachos at Joe T's is a good reward for an 11-1 season - sheesh, why bother being good if that is the result? Maybe next year you can go 12-0 and make it Arlington.

hey toad, rather than worry about our coaching staff, why don't you go try and explain to your own team why their reward for a 'great' season is playing in their own stadium against a .500 team.

I'd worry if I was a Toad that Patterson will probably interview for the Nebraska job or the Duke job particularly if the Frogs jump to the MWC. I'd worry about that if I was you.

Well...if you had any sense in your head whatsoever, you'd know that a good 'leader' admits his faults and does what's necessary in the lower ranks (assistant coaches) to improve things to accomplish his goals. If that means firing or reshuffling staff, so be it.

As far as I can tell, Cowlishaw is the only local journalist who's really pointed out what they are - Frauds. Nice season this year -- no way for us to mock a team for going 11-1. But TCU had better hope that Boise State isn't coming to Fort Worth. Boise will kill those guys. They thought Houston had a good passing game? If Cougar High's freshman QB (and he is talented) can put up 55 points on the Frogs, Ryan Dinwiddie might put up 155.

Im behind anything Bennett has done and will do at SMU! Weither that means Firing people or benching them...

Go I hope whoever plays TCU kicks the stuffin outta of that Frog!

Like any CEO, it ultimately is always all his fault (perhaps he should have fired them earlier)...now he has corrected the problem.

My question is, when did tcu all of a sudden get interested in classwork? What a friggin joke! And you better believe Trash Can University does not want ANY part of BOISE St.!!! That would be a hide tanning in the highest order!!!

Drive Thru Window management must be one of TCU's courses of study. Way to go Gena, we're proud of you. Maybe by next year, you can get to dress up as Grimace and hand out sundae treats to the kids at the Mickey D's playground.
