Well we might as well just keep winning then. Too bad Oregon and Bama will run the table and meet in the national championship. [Ohio State can't convert anything longer than 5 yards on 3rd down, they've lost key guys on defense and will lose to Iowa Big X sucks]

I want to win but not to help TCU. This is not an added incentive. And you noticed Patterson did not say anything about SMU in the article.

Who cares about TCU? No one will after they lose @ Utah.

If Oregon runs the conference over then they do have a legitimate shot at the NC game.

Pretty early to say much now.

USC's game against Stanford at the Farm will probably give a good indication if Oregon is for real.

The NCAA scholly limit and desertions for USC are already taking their toll due to lack of depth.

It looks as if it is going to get much worse as well.

Yes, we are Penitents and boy have we suffered for our faith. The NCAA spared USC. Kiffin will make them wish they hadn't in the next couple of seasons, because there will be recruiting investigations as he moves forward. The NCAA started those in TN 3 months after he took that job. Ponydad brace yourself for that, it is going to happen.

As far as TCU needing us to win... Emotional conflict here. A part (a small, petty part) of me would like JJ to play no one but the third team for the rest of the year to hammer TCU's strength of schedule. That would at least give Mac Engel something legitimate to complain about. I have no hard feelings for TCU, but their fans and Engel (GP's Skin Flute Player) make me nuts.

I think Nebraska could run the table in the Big 12-2 and end up undefeated, Big 12-2 is weak this year. Oregon is verrrrry fast and could go undefeated out west. I think Oregon State will give them a game due to the rivalry, IArizona will not beat them in Eugene. USC could give thema challenge only because the game is in LA. I think Bama loses somewhere in the SEC schedule.

Could have four teams undefeated at end of year and BSU, TCU will get left out again.
