Press Box Pass Auction!

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to experience a game from the SMU press box? Bid today and find out with the Full SMU Football Experience.

The winner of the auction receives a pair of press box seats, a full tour of the fifth level “working press area” and a pre-game meal. While in the press box you and your guest must conduct yourselves in the manner of a member of the media and not openly cheer for the Mustangs. Bid now on this amazing SMU football experience. Proceeds from this auction will be given to the Side-Out Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to awarding aid to medical research and providing compassionate support to breast cancer patients and their families.

NCAA Rules:

Please understand SMU’s obligation and commitment to abide by NCAA rules and regulations. Complying with these rules will ensure that SMU student-athletes remain eligible for competition. Failure to comply places the entire SMU Athletics Department in violation of NCAA rules and jeopardizes our institution’s good standing with the NCAA.

Due to NCAA rules, prospect-aged athletes (grades 9-12) are not eligible to participate as a bidder, an auction item winner, or guest of the auction item winner. In addition, the auction winner and guest must be at least 12 years old to be granted access to the sideline during game action.

Auction Experiences: Winning bidder must be a Mustang fan and supporter and must dress and act accordingly and in a professional and courteous manner while participating in this experience. At the sole discretion of the SMU Athletics Department, if at any time during the experience the winning bidder is nor acting in a professional and courteous manner, SMU may end the experience and no refund or additional services will be offered to the winning bidder whether or not the entire experience was completed. By bidding on the auction, you confirm your knowledge of the NCAA rules and regulations pertaining to this request and agree to abide by all said guidelines.

Delivery: Passes will be available at will call on game day.

The press box is interesting. I recommend bidding.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I'm sure it's interesting from a broadcasting perspective, but not rooting for your team? ugh.
now, if I could act like our homer announcers, then.... yeah. but, I'm guessing that only they get to do so.

Everyone, please stop bidding and send what you would spend on this directly to the Mustang Club. Let me have this one.

I sat in the press box for several years. At Texas Stadium (really nice) and at Ownby (really bad). Never sat in Ford PB. It's a really interesting experience. There's talk about the game going on and loud exclamations about a particularly play (especially awhen there's a hard hit) but it's a "working" environment and not a cheerleading section. Only exception I remember was the winning touchdown in the "Miracle on Mockingbird". There was some cheering going on then. And the pre-game spread wasn't bad either. At Texas Stadium, they opened the bar after the game. Not a bad Mustang football experience at all.

It is more fun to sit down in the stands and let me sit up there
