More TCU "logic"

Anyone check out Rick Alonzo's story about the little froggies going to the TCU Bowl?
Some highlights:
1.
"(TCU AD Eric) Hyman said it wouldn't have been possible to reschedule final exams for about 500 students who will attend a bowl game, including the football team, band and cheerleaders."
Excuse me? The bowl schedule now has to consider the schedules of the trombone players and the girls waving those goofy flags? And does this mean that TCU really has 400-plus students in the band and cheerleader groups? Who cares! If a French horn student can't reschedule his exam, he doesn't go. It's not part of the tuition package.
2.
"(Coach Gary) Pattersonb and Hyman acknowledged it will be a challenge to play a bowl game in their hometown. There will be no extravagant trips to another city, part of the general experience of playing in the postseason."
WAAAAHHHH!!! They snubbed a bowl so they could get a home game, and now they're whining about playing at home? They should have gone to the GMAC - any trip to Mobile, Ala., is "extravagant" - don't you think?
3.
"You win," (Patterson) said. "Our group is a humble group. There are no bad bowl games."
Fill in your own punchlines here. All of them.
(Ahem .... Coach? If there are no bad bowl games, then you shouldn't have thumbed your nose at the bigger bowl - the one that invited you and the one in which you should be playing, based on your place in C-USA -- a place which you'll note is NOT first place. Win the conference before you start playing by your own rules.)
