Less then satisfying wins

Its a mark of how far we have come in a short time that we are 4-2 and everyone is annoyed since our offense really hasnt showed up yet for a game. Imagine what we can do when they finally start clicking.

I'm actaully hacked we didnt hang 50 on Tulsa. That is a long way from hoping we get 2 wins two years ago.

Agreed. I figured we would get at least 35 on them, considering they are one of the worst pass defenses in the nation. I also can't believe we threw for nearly 400 yards and could only manage 21 points.

That's what happens when you start inside your own 10 4 or 5 different drives

I'm always satisfied with a win.

Same here. 4-2 and 3-0 in CUSA is looking pretty good right now

I'm sure they're thinking the same thing about their offense not hangin 50 on us since they're 8th
in the nation in total offense.

Sagarin had the spread at 2, THIS WAS A SATISFYING WIN :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

Tulsa definitely had their chances.

Yardage wise -- 400+ yds ain't too shabby and almost 3 receivers with 100 yards.

For some reason, just didn't seem like that many yards and the offense still isn't on track.

We have had 370 & 380 yards passing the last two weeks. Sounds like the passing game is on track. But watching the game it didn't seem like it.

I agree.
I was surprised when I heard the passing yardage, and our total offensive yardage, for this game.

There is a difference between being happy with a win and satisfied. Tulsa is the number 118 pass defense in the country playing a supposed high power offense - we put yards on them but not as much scoring as we should have and way too many punts (some pretty bad ones i might add).

this team is good enough that when we play this kind of team at home in perfect weather we should score 50. so i am not satisfied at all and I bet JJ is not either.

Defense was good all things considered - kicking game was bad again. DJ is great receiver but If we put him back there for a punt again then we deserve whatever we get.

I say we put 11 men on the line of scrimmage and bring the house. The worst* that could happen is we start inside our own 1 yard line; plus there is a chance for a block or a muffed punt.

*possibility of a roughing penalty - but that's a negative.
