Looks like for the time-being we will see Piland. Some interesting stats:

The Cougars (3-2) simply had no answers for a rushing attack that churned out 198 yards in the first half and 409 for the game. The Bulldogs, who entered the game 96th nationally in turnover margin, had a 538-403 advantage in total offense and didn’t fumble or throw an interception in ending a three-game losing streak against UH.

Piland completed 30 of 57 passes for 301 yards, with two touchdowns and two interceptions in his college debut.

In case you missed it, final result...

The Mississippi State Bulldogs ended the Cougars’ 18-game home winning streak with a fast-and-furious vengeance 47-24 before 32,067.

I'm encouraged by how this game turned out because their weaknesses are our strengths. If we can run the ball, and not allow them to run, thus playing more nickel I think we can punch our ticket to CUSA Championship assuming we take care of business the rest of the year.

That's pretty good, especially against an SEC team.

What is the story with Piland and Broadway? Has Broadway not played well or has this Piland really stepped up and won the job. Does anybody know?
