What's With the Scoreboard?

Cannot those people get that thing to correctly post the games stats or the down and yardage? It was awful for Washington State, and TCU and again yesterday. Showing 3rd and 34 when it was 1st and 10 etc. And their "halftime Stats" showed us with about 42 yards offense. After that fiasco they never tried to post stats. It was the same for the Washington State an TCU games. So what's with the scoreboard?

The first quarter stats looked like they could have been correct ( I said could have been) but the time of possession for the 2 teams totaled about 8 minutes.

I think those were wrong. It only showed us with about 45 rushing yards, and Line had already broken one for over 30, so I think those may have been too low.

When the stat guy says it is 3rd and 24, that really means it is 2nd and 10
I didn't read the first post as usual. Watching the game online meant I had to watch that the entire game and he/she was off many more times
I think at the TCU game I saw 3rd and 40 when it was a first down

Long story short, there's a broken piece of equipment - or at least one that wasn't installed right. The board takes the stats straight out of the scoring computer we use and puts them up on the board. We had them in to fix it after the TCU game, tested it and it worked. The game started and it worked and then, poof, busted again. We are aware of the problem and will have it fixed (hopefully for good) for Homecoming. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks Brad. Computer malfunction I can deal with. If this was continual human error something needed to be changed. Thanks for the explanation. I got tired of being laughed at by the TCU folks sitting behind me at their game as we got the final stats from the WSU game at the end of each quarter.

I've been noticing these problems too, and glad to hear that it's being fixed. But it is so great having a bigger screen and in HD.

Ha, I forgot about that. The stadium went silent, really deflated the place at a crucial point in the game.
