Is having close circuit at the concessions unreasonable?

I went to get a coke in the second quarter, and I literally waited in line 30 minutes because the concessions were operating absurdly slow. On the televisions, they had the Rangers game. I've been to other stadiums where they have the game being played on closed circuit tv. Is this above what we are capable of at the moment? If we can do it, I think it would be a great addition. I missed a TD waiting in line.

you must have been in the wrong line. They usually show the game on the TV's.

As for the concessions, I think that is a losing battle. I doubt we can outsource due to budget constraints. The people behind the counter are clueless and there is no POS machine.
They didn't even have 3 or 4 of them open at all.

Do not understand our concessions at all, 20k fans, and half the concession stands are closed. They need em all open for all 6 six games, can it be that hard? I bet they lost a fair share of concessions because peolpe did not want to wait in those silly lines. Plus you should treat your fans better by not making them choose.

that was part of the issue. Out of 4 tvs, two were turned off/not operational and the other two had the freakin rangers game on. Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.

Working TVs and operational concession stands would involve spending money. Orsini asks for money — doesn't mean he'll spend it on anything to help improve fan experience.

In the concession stands behind 104 they had the SMU game on. But it took 30 minutes to buy a coke and popcorn during the second quarter. The people working the concession stands are extremely slow. I'm sure they are losing alot of business.

Don't even get started on the consessions at all of SMU's events...ALL third rate quality and terrible service...waste of time to even try to discuss. Just eat and drink before you get there...and try to bring in a flask and just try get a coke to drink with it.

I think SMU was reading pf.com last week and was expecting 10-12000 and planned accordingly...and twice that showed up

The tv's in front of the downstairs elevators to the suites and club work, but have not been carrying the game.

At least there seem to be more hawkers in the stands now. Drinks are the same price whether you stand in line or wait for a hawker to come by, which isn't always the case at other venues.

If the lines are long, I just wait in my seat for a hawker to come by. You don't miss any of the game. But if the hawker is at the end of selling out a tray, your odds are great that your water or soda will be warm.

I brought a friend who had never attended before and said it was a joke to try to get a drink or food..and he said the PA announcer was awful. How hard is it to get the little things done right?

I agree on the TV front, but the TV's in my area of the concourse were working with the SMU game on.

My biggest complaint is the radio broadcast in the bathrooms. Typically one or two games a year they actually get the broadcast on at a volume where you can hear Rich. The other games it's the stadium announcer at an inaudible level and then the band mic that blares through the speakers, jolts me and makes me [deleted] everywhere.

Is it as simple as not having a "gameday checklist" to get every switch turned on and every base covered, or just plain incompetence?
