Of the 3 losses, 2 were on the road and the other was at home versus the #4 team in the country.

Nice synopsis and interesting.

Yeouuch, BLM 23 ints in 12 games. Nice to see Kyle have that number down to 9, still a bit high for the run and shoot, but certainly not 23. Most of kyle's recent interceptions have been because of poor throws, not poor decisions, he just simply missed a pretty wide open receiver.

BLM on the other hand.....he threw it times he never should have and places he never should have even tried.
Probaly won't happen...BUT...maybe it will!!

Actually its low for Run and Shoot....

All JJs QB throw lots of INTs thats what happens when you through 50 times a game...

I agree, only 9 Ints for the RNS is very good.

Those are fantastic statistics. What is scary [for opposing teams] and great for us is that KP is only a Soph, which means 2 more years to master the offense with more talented players.

Right. KP is overly selective per June Jones standards. But it's working. I'd argue that Kyle Padron is going to be the best NFL quarterback that June's coached at the college level.

Not much competition there, only one of Jones 4 Hawaii QBs got drafted (Brennan in the 6th), and none have seen any NFL regular season action as of 2010.

Sorry. Best NFL prospect. How about this? He'll be drafted higher than Colt Brennan and will carry less of the system quarterback stigma.

That's quite a prediction to make, Brennan was seen as a 1st day prospect after his stellar 2006 junior season, had he declared when his stock was high he'd likely be starting somewhere now. I doubt Padron will ever be seen in that same class unless he puts up Brennan-caliber numbers though if he avoids the ominous end to his career that Brennan saw (Sugar Bowl embarrassment, lackluster Senior Bowl week, injuries) then he stands a decent shot at being drafted. He should face less of the system QB stigma than Brennan due to less media coverage, Brennan was a cult like figure and that probably hurt him more than it helped him.

You make some excellent points. Let me say this. Padron is an inch or two taller and has the frame to add much more bulk than Brennan. He's got a much better throwing motion and release point than Brennan. Guess we'll see.

Only one more year if he leaves for the NFL after his junior year.

I sure hope he stays for his senior year though!
