I think you could make a strong case for Line for MVP thus far. He has really helped stabalize this team in the first several games of the season as Kyle was trying to regain his Hawaii bowl form.

Line has definitely come through at key times, especially early in the season

That summary was well done.

Well done, nothing out of the ordinary. While, you could make the argument that Line is the MVP, this offense is centered around the passing game, and over the past 3/4 (not TCU) Padron has begun to click, which is scary for the rest of C-USA.

Interesting how the year has gone thus far.
At the beginning, we were a dark horse to win the West. And we all were concerned how injuriess could affect our season. So far, we have been injury free of key positions and UH has had devestating injuries.
Now, we are the favorites and few give UH a chance at the Western title.
Our D has performed beyond expectation and th O is finally starting to click. We have a potent running game and the best defense against point making kicks in the nation.
A lot of 'ifs' left in this year but a strong 7-5 finish is very possible and a 10-2 isn't out of reach. So far a great year.

"It has become clear that it’s only a matter of time before SMU is a champion again, an incredible rebirth following years of misery. There is life after death."
This pretty much sums up SMU football.

You wanna know what really sums up SMU football? Top conference. Good until Doak left in 1949. Mostly bad until 1980. Extremely good until death penalty. Mediocre conferences. Very bad until late last season. Good now.

I thought Padron was good on Saturday but he threw some really bad passes several times. The offense is getting closer to really clicking though. It still makes me mad that JJ passes on third and inches instead of handing off to his 230 lb. running back.

Wondering what you guys think. I think we should stay in CUSA rather than move to any other conference even if we have a choice. It should be easier to run this conference than any other that we WANT to play in. I don't know why TCU would want to move. They will likely be in another BCS bowl this year. National Championships are UNlikely for either of us due to BIG SCHOOL bias.
