SMU (4-2) has shot out to a 3-0 start in Conference USA, but finishes nonconference play this week at Navy (3-2).
Stat of the week: The Mustangs can break a 19-game nonconference road losing streak. SMU's last win on the road against a non-league opponent came at Navy, 24-11, on Nov. 21, 1998.
The Midshipmen beat the Mustangs in University Park last season, 38-35, in overtime.

The stat implies that a road game is a game at the other team's home stadium.
